My name is Heather Mohnkern and I have been an area computer instructor and name in Venango Co for over 28 years. I have provided on-demand instructor led computer training for many educational institutions and have specialized in Corporate, non-profit, educational and governmental trainings in a wide variety of software applications including but not limited to the full Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks Pro, WordPress websites, social media, operating systems and more. I have always loved training and initially became involved in the field upon completing and obtaining my PA instructional I certification as a Grove City graduate but found training adults for workforce development to be highly rewarding and where I love to be. Part of that is the challenge of constantly customizing to meet the needs of our area. I have worked many years to obtain industry certifications some of which include the Microsoft Office suite, A+ PC Repair and Software, Network +, technical training, server and operating system certifications. If you ask me what makes a good trainer I will say that using the software first in industry settings and supporting questions from clients will keep any trainer sharp, relevant, and on target with current technologies. This is why I also love to apply my skill set in the role as elected auditor with the County of Venango. I don’t just teach….I use the products everyday in a professional environment.
